SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre (YMCA)

SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre is a state-of-the-art aquatic and recreation facility located in the City of Marion, South Australia. The $100 million world-class facility is owned and funded by the Government of South Australia in association with the City of Marion and managed by YMCA Victoria. The centre has a total of five pools including a pool built to FINA standards to host national and international swimming events. The facility also has a health club, creche, function rooms, a retail store and catering outlets.

The City of Greater Bendigo

The City of Greater Bendigo is located in the centre of Victoria comprising a population of more than 110,000 residents. It represents the state’s third largest economy and is nestled in 40,000 hectares of regional, state and national parkland. The City of Greater Bendigo owns 12 swimming centres including the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre, Faith Leech Aquatic Centre and Brennan Park Pool which are managed by Belgravia Leisure.

Monash City Council

The City of Monash is a culturally diverse community in Melbourne’s south-east suburbs with an estimated population of 196,856 residents. Monash Council maintains three recreation and aquatic centres: Clayton Aquatic & Health Club, Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre and Oakleigh Recreation Centre. These centres have been designed to complement one another and offer a wide range of facilities and services.

Toowoomba Regional Council

The city of Toowoomba is located 125km west of Brisbane and has an estimated regional population of 166,500. Toowoomba is the second largest inland city in the country and has ranked twice in the top five most family friendly cities in Australia. Toowoomba Council manages a total of 9 pools across the region with Milne Bay and Highfields Aquatic and Fitness Centre both offering pool and gym facilities. These two centres provide a variety of group fitness classes, gym equipment and pool options including a hydrotherapy pool, toddlers pool, 25m indoor and 50m outdoor pool, as well as a spa, sauna, creche and a café.

ACT Property Group

The ACT Property Group is an agency within the ACT government which provides strategic asset management and manages government and non-government tenancies. The Group owns five aquatic centres across the Australian Capital Territory which attract around 900,000 visitors per year. While the Dickson Aquatic Centre and the Manuka Pool operate only during the summer period; the remaining three facilities (Gungahlin Leisure Centre, Lakeside Leisure Centre, Canberra Olympic Pool) are open all year round. The latter offer a wide range of facilities including indoor heated pools, outdoor dive pool, leisure pools, health clubs, group fitness studios, café and creche services.

Southern Grampians Shire Council

The Southern Grampians Shire is located 290km west of Melbourne and 500km south east of Adelaide. The Shire has a population of almost 16,000, covers an area of 6,655km2 and its landscape is dominated by the spectacular Grampians mountain range and ancient volcanoes. The Southern Grampians Shire Council operates a total of seven Aquatic facilities but only the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC) is open all year round. It has an 8-lane heated 25m pool, heated program pool with beach entry, gym facilities, a group fitness studio, squash/racquetball facilities, as well as a café and crèche.

Town of Port Hedland

The town of Port Hedland is located 1,800km north of Perth in Western Australia and covers 11,844km2 of the Pilbara region. It is home to approximately 16,000 people from diverse cultural backgrounds and its location on the ocean provides for a variety of aquatic leisure activities. The town of Port Hedland also manages the Gratwick Aquatic Centre, the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and the Wanangkura Stadium. The two Aquatic Centres host a variety of facilities and services including outdoor pools, a diving bowl and a children’s play pool with water features; Wanangkura Stadium offers an extensive range of cardio equipment, a variety of group fitness classes, as well as a creche and kiosk.
